Jamie Locks is an American drummer based in Reno, Nevada. Locks has been pounding the skins since 2005 and done extensive touring since 2010 playing roughly 1,000 shows in 7 different countries with artist such as, Boss’ Daughter, Beercan!, John Dough Boys, Ming & Ping, Misfritz, The Randy Savages, Strictly Business, Red Hot Radio, and Voted Best Band. During that time, Locks has performed at festivals around the globe like The FEST (Gainesville, FL), Pouzza Fest (Montreal, CAN), Rock The Glock Fest (Munich, GER), and La Escalera Fest (San Diego, CA and Tijuana, MEX). Though thriving in travel, Locks isn’t afraid of some session work and has appeared on over a dozen albums. Drawing influence and technique from a wide range of drummers like Matt Covey for blazing speeds and technicality, Adam Deitch for silky smooth funk jams, and Matt McGuire for stylish edm bangers, Locks has a created a flavor of his own.
