Jacey Knecht
Jacey Knecht is the powerhouse drummer behind Parabellum, a rising thrash metal band from Northern California. Picking up the sticks at just 12 years old, Jacey quickly honed his craft, developing a style defined by speed, precision, and groove. His drumming delivers the relentless energy that drives Parabellum’s explosive sound.
Jacey draws inspiration from some of the most iconic drummers in metal: Pete Webber (Havok) for his surgical precision and blistering speed, Gene Hoglan (Death) for his technical mastery and creativity, Vinnie Paul (Pantera) for his groove-driven power, and Nick Menza (Megadeth) for his seamless blend of complexity and musicality. Combining these influences, Jacey’s style fuses ferocious double-bass patterns, intricate fills, and tight rhythmic control—all while carving out his own distinct sound.
Rooted in thrash legends like Slayer, Overkill, and the Bay Area thrash movement, Jacey balances technical finesse with unrestrained aggression. His dynamic approach delivers crushing rhythms and explosive stage energy, earning him recognition as one of the most promising young drummers in the next generation of thrash metal
