Isaiah Rose is a 16-year old drummer born in Hong Kong, China. He spent the first 9 years of
his life there. He picked up the drums when he was 7 years old and took lessons until coming to
America. After moving here he quit the drums until he was 13 years old and his parents gifted
him a silver Pearl Export Series acoustic drum kit. Since then his passion for the drums has
grown immensely. He joined his high school marching band his freshman year but only
continued for one more year due to staffing issues. Since then, he and his friends created a
band called LARIE, which he is currently in. They play cover songs by artists like Nirvana,
Green Day, and Weezer. They are currently writing their own songs and will perform them soon.
He is mainly self taught other than the basics he learned back in Hong Kong and is continuing to
expand his drumming vocabulary constantly.
