Harvey Bien-Aimee

Born on June 06 1982 in Paris, France, Harvey Bien-Aimee grew up in a musical environment in Montreal, Canada. At the age of 14 Harvey’s first passion was the Drums, he started to play with one of the choir at his local church (GospelVie). Harvey went to Vanier College in Montreal where he studied with Nasyr Abdul-Al-Khabyyr (teacher from Berklee) for 2 years.

Early influences include Dennis Chambers, Virgil Donati, Marvin McQuitty, Eddie Hayward, Tony Royster, Vinnie Colaiuta just to name a few.

In the past years, he played and recorded with many bands and solo artists in Canada and France doing many tours with them as well. These experiences also brought him to play different musical styles such as rock, pop, funk, latin, r&b, jazz, gospel and world beat.

Harvey had the privilege to play with great artists such as Corneille, Les Nubians, Gage, Berenice Dauphin, Mario Pelchat, France D’amour, JirehGospel Choir, Florence K, Rimshot Crew, Ti-Kabsy, Jowee Omicil, Linda Thalie, K-maro, Imposs, Olivier Cheuwa etc.

The gig brings him to play in differents countries such as Brasil, Tahiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Mexico, USA and of course Canada.

Harvey has since started teaching and holding drum lessons in a music school.

He is currently endorsed by Soultone Cymbals.

He also wants to thank God for blessing him and helping him stay focused and humble.
