Grayson Tate is the drummer for the southern Maryland based math rock trio, Trash Bin Stench, as well as the groove metal band, No Input.

Growing up, his dream was to play music professionally. He played the cello in his school orchestra, and participated in the school chorus choir. When he was in high school, he joined a band with his classmates playing the bass guitar and began taking music more seriously. Out of necessity, he switched from playing bass to playing the drums because his band couldn’t find a drummer. He began teaching himself how to play and has been progressing ever since.

Grayson finds influence in punk and heavy rock music, as well as hip-hop and rap. He blends these styles to create powerful rhythmic language through sound. After 10 years of recording music, Grayson has written and performed all drum compositions in the Trash Bin Stench discography. He has also recorded drums for The Planetary Nutbums ‘Two Stock EP’.

Grayson is continuing to make new music and play shows regularly with the group No Input in and around Baltimore, Maryland.
