I am 49 years of age and I started playing drums at age of 8 in that time I was living in Tijuana
(BCM) and going to elementary school, what got me into playing music was that one day my older
brother was already listening to Rock n Roll till one day he played “STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN” that I
remember so the way I started playing was air drumming lol.
I have never been to any music school to discipline myself I started learning by ear and
watching my brother play his drums, after Led Zeppelin I started listening to other bands like Motley
Crue, Metallica, Anthrax, etc,etc and from there I started playing a bit more sometimes air drumming
and at times every time my brother left I started playing his kit.
After we moved into the United States from Tijuana I started going to church and had the
opportunity to play in service every Sunday and every time there was a chance to play during the
week, and to be honest I stop playing for a few years then I came back and had never stopped playing
since, I had done some demos with old bands in 2011 I did 2 demos with a different bands and that
same year I joined “Psychos in Love” a local punk rock band in Monterey County.
