“Without God I am nothing, to God be the glory”

Fast Freddy Whiteside, was born Frederick S. Whiteside III in 1981 out of Buffalo, NY. Frederick has always had a liking for the drums as a child, but it wasn’t until his freshman year in high school that he started getting serious with the drums. Starting out as a line snare for the Buffalo Traditional High School Marching band, Frederick started to hone in his skills as a percussionist, eventually landing him the head drummer slot for the Buffalo Traditional Gospel Choir and Jazz Band.

After High school Frederick went on to play for a Gospel/Hip Hop band based out of Niagara Falls, NY called Sanctified Flow, playing and touring in the Greater Western New York area for 2 years. He later went into the military and had the opportunity to play at 2 military concerts in Dubai, playing with the groups Mid-Watch and Drive 65. After the military, Frederick went on to link up with one of Virginia Beach’s most exclusive Hip/Hop artists and long time friend J-Black. Currently Frederick is the drummer for J-Black and fellow producer T-Green who is also based out of Virginia Beach.

In conclusion, Frederick would like to extend a very special “Thanks” to his Mom and Dad, Barb and Fred Whiteside, his sister Alyssa Whiteside (my music partner), and his drum teacher and mentor Carl Messina for igniting his skills in drums……………
