Freddy López

Freddy López was born in 1980 in the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Edo Lara. He began to play drums at the age of 16. Is graduated as a Journalist in 2004, he is an entrepreneur, doing business of Social Marketing and a startup company. Freddy actually plays drums in his band called Bajo zero, South American Thrash death metal, from 2005 to then. His first bands were Ravishankar 1998-1999, Terror Machine 1999-2001 and Sacro 2001-2004. The Freddys influences in his musical life are: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Journey, Megadeth, Testament, Slayer, Death, Dimmu Borgir, Strapping young lad, Lamb of god, Sepultura, Soulfly, Iron maiden, Aspid (Russia), Anthrax, Conquer Distopia, Dream Theater, and many more. His master drummers are: John Bonham, Thomas Lang, Chris Coleman, Mike Terrana, Neil Peart, Andrés Briceno (Venezuela), Dave Lombardo, Eloy Cazagrande (Sepultura), Alex Rudinger (Conquer Distopia), Paul Bostaph, Gene Hoglan, Chris Addler, Mike Mangini, Mike Portnoy, Igor Cavalera and much more.
