Dom Trombetta – known on stage as NYHCdom2 – is a powerhouse drummer with over 30 years of experience behind the kit. A true veteran of the scene, Dom has carved out a name for himself with his dynamic, genre-blending style that fuses the raw aggression of hardcore and heavy metal with the technical finesse and swing of jazz. Drawing deep inspiration from the big band era and the legendary Buddy Rich, Dom brings a unique energy to every performance — combining brutal precision with jazz-infused creativity.
As the creative force behind D.O.M (Destruction Of Mankind), Dom has released five solo albums, showcasing his signature sound that blurs the lines between intensity and intricacy. In 2025, he collaborated with the band Point Blank on two explosive cover tracks — “Be Loud” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It” — featured on Classics vs Classics Volume 6. He also drums on Point Blank’s upcoming album, "Back to Square One", slated for release in Winter 2025.
Currently holding down the drum throne for Concrete Burial, Dom continues to push musical boundaries. Their summer 2025 single, "Sunday Matinee," is a tribute to the gritty, passionate spirit of the East Coast hardcore scene.
