Native American Drummer/Musician from Shiprock, NM, Navajo Nation Reservation.
grew with music in the house since i can remember, from Elvis Presley, to Buddy Holly, to Ritchie Valens, ect. then at the age of 6 i was introduced to KISS and Peter Criss's drum solo on KISS Alive! blew my mind. since then i knew i wanted to be a drummer, there are moments like mine where you think to yourself "i think i can do that, i want to know how to do that" that was it with pursuing music. from there i taught myself from listening and seeing videos. also at that age i heard Thrash Metal, Grunge, Hair Metal, Classic Metal/Rock, Pop, R&B, Death Metal, ect. At 11 years i got my first starter drum kit, before i was building kits with buckets and other things outside to air-drumming, figuring out how to learn and know the sounds i was hearing. at 15 years old after few years of practicing and seein how much improvement i made i was discovered by a local band and played with them for couple years, after that another local band picked me up and i did few tours, legit studio time, an album, after 3 years with them i started a band with a few of my high school buddies, did couple years with them, recorded an album, did many shows in our area.
then in late 2014 my current main band Heart Museum then End This Year needed help recordin thier EP since then we released 3 EPs, few tours, currently workin on new music.
recently had started a Classic Rock/Metal cover band Playback Circus with good friends of mine from other bands in our area that ive known for years. and now in the works with another project Our Last Sacrifice which we will be releasing music soon!
also currently fillin in for good friends of mine Lo Cash Ninjas. all from our local regional area in NM and AZ.
i am using Tama Drums, Evans Drumheads, Collision Drumsticks, and now endorsed by Soultone Cymbals
i am enjoying these cymbals, they sound great, feel great, and i look foward to using them at the next gigs, videos and jam sessions.
