Derek Petrucci is an accomplished rock / funk / breakbeat drummer from Columbus, OH best
known for his work with rising Psychedelic Powerhouse - BareFuzz. Petrucci is also an
acclaimed electronic music producer releasing under the alias - Pipe Leak.
A lifelong lover of music with drumming experience spanning 16+ years, Petrucci is known best
for his unique combination of power, finesse & clearly defined style behind the drums combining
elements of genres such as: Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Jazz, Jungle / Drum n’ Bass, Hip-Hop
& Dubstep.
Petrucci has recording credits on all three of BareFuzz’s studio albums & and a forthcoming
credit on their 4th full length release set to hit listener’s ears in mid-2024 as well as credits on
30+ live albums & instrumental mix tapes.
Petrucci continues to work at his craft and is set for a breakout year in 2024 both as a drummer
