David was born in Denver Colorado in 1985, and raised in Texas, and has been playing drums since the age of 5. He grew up playing drums in church with his father, David Humphries, who is the lead keyboard player for the S.C Band (recently inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame). He moved to Las Vegas Nevada with his mother Paula Crisler, sister Toya and brothers Mitchell & Andre. David has lived most of his life in the heart of the city. He started playing drums at church in Las Vegas and was mentored by Musician and Worship Leader Michael Jackson at a young age. Michael introduced David to competing in drum competitions and making digital music, along with doing live studio recordings and playing to click tracks in later years.
At age 17, he tied for 1st place in a drum competition for a chance to play on stage with Sheila. E. At age 20, he started playing percussion alongside Tony Delgado from 'Dancing With The Stars'. One of their performances include the opening act for Jessica Simpson at The Pearl Theather in the Palms Hotel and Casino.
David has also done many gigs with one of the greatest DJs in Las Vegas and good friend, DJ A+ Rodney Munnings where he played percussion and drums alongside him. Major performances in Las Vegas include the opening for Skype Network, the MGM Golden Key awards for major CEO and Presidents of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and a major opening at the Wynn Hotel and Casino for the host of the Desperate House Wives jewellery party. DJ A+ and David also played multiple gigs at the Mirage Hotel and Casino main strip lounge The Rumbar, where DJ A+ is now the entertainment director.
David also has other talents. He has performed as a hip hop dancer for the MTV series 'Sweet 16', an entertainer in an episode featuring Nick Cannon as the DJ and a percussionist in a new release for a major company called Temper Pedic Mattrice. He has also had the pleasure of performing as a back-up drummer for Mishon Ratliff, an R&B hip hop artist for Dynasty records, at the House Of Blues at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. David has also worked and played gigs with Christian rap artist Markia of Five One Entertainment.

David is now married and living in Australia with his wife and 2 daughters. Currently playing full time, David is the drummer for the Urban Praise Gospel Choir which was officially founded by Jerome and Jenny Phillips. Jerome was the Tour Manager for 'Cool N The Gang'. He moved to Australia with a new found purpose for life, where he met his wife Jenny and had 3 beautiful girls. With a vision to bring Gospel music to Melbourne Australia, the Urban Praise Gospel Choir was born. Urban Praise has been going 7 years and coming up to its official 8 year anniversary. Urban Praise brings great American gospel music and worship to Australia, working to save many lives for those who seek Jesus Christ. Urban Praise recently played the opening for famous gospel singers 'Mary Mary' on their Go Get Tour Australia.

David is also working in his own studio - Skys Da Limit Entertainment - alongside his brother & wife recording live. He has done many gigs in the past and is determined to keep moving forward in every apsect of his life.
