Born and raised in Liverpool, Darren played beats on anything he could find for as long as he can remember getting his first drum kit at the age of 11 to focus that energy.

Working his way through lessons, grades and a multitude of world percussive instruments he quickly began playing in projects from school, church and samba bands to name a few, performing in front of huge crowds in stadium grounds, venues and festivals.

After receiving a music university degree in London, Darren began playing professionally in various bands in the UK, recording and releasing music and playing live. He found his heart and home with Them Bloody Kids in 2018 who are now making a lot of noise in the rock and metal scene featuring in all the major magazines and touring the UK.
