Currently based in Macau, Darren is performing with "Blademark" or "刃記". The group has been together over 10yrs, with Darren behind the drums for close to 3 yrs.

Drawing upon a wealth of both on and off stage experience, Darren holds a position of the Entertainment and Audio Visual Manager for MGM Macau. This finds him with the resources to produce high end shows and performances, and the associated technical support.

Equally exciting is recently taking on the role of Distributor of Soultone Cymbals in China, Hong Kong and Macau. In this capacity, Darren endeavours to bring the legendary customer service of Soultone founder Iki Levy, and help to develop new business in the fast growing markets of China and Southern Asia. The first Macau Soultone Cymbal dealer, Aces Musica has already been signed. Look for more love in the region coming soon.

Before relocating to Macau in 2008, Darren had spent over 20yrs touring Canada, the USA, Europe and most of Asia. He has played with a number of North American and Asian artists. Formal music education includes graduating from Grant MacEwan University (Edmonton, AB), Capilano University (Vancouver, BC), and Mount Royal College (Calgary, AB) music programs respectively. While in Canada, Darren was working with partners at Music Centre Canada, based in Calgary Ab. Music Centre Canada, is a leader in the Western Canadian Music Retail industry.
