Darren Elliott started playing when he got his first drum set for Christmas at the age of 12. Since then, he has been playing nonstop in the Louisiana/Arklatex area . Darren started playing drums for the band klearview in high school. Klearview went through many stages of genre helping Darren develop many styles of drumming. Once graduated, he started playing for Aaron Watson. Aaron being a worship leader, Darren got the opportunity to play for several churches, including youth events, church camps, and special events. In 2010 Darren joined the band Fire in Salem out of Monroe Louisiana. Fire in Salem toured across the south expressing their experimental spontaneous worship sound. In 2012 Darren got the opportunity to play for an up and coming country artist Chancie Neal. Playing with Chancie Neal, Darren has had the opportunity to tour and share the stage with Luke Bryan, Craig Gentry, Florida Georgia Line, Lee Brice, and more. Darren is also apart of a young adult ministry called 318LIVE. There he has had the honor of playing for various artist such as, Kari Jobe, Ryan Edger, Cody Carnes, Dominique, and Dewitt Jones of Foreverjones and more. Darren is currently on Shreveport Louisiana where he is the head percussionist at Riverpark church and he teaches drum lessons at the Bellaire Baptist school of music. Darren's current set up.
