Daniel Yuschick

In his teens, Dan Yuschick began to play drums and quickly found the hobby turning into a passion. His humble beginnings were full of hand-made fliers plastering the halls of high schools and local record shops while do-it-yourself shows were full of other musicians, fans and opportunities. Dan’s creative, unique and blistering approach to playing was noticed by an area melodic thrash band, Subdue, who had later recruited Dan after their original drummer had quit. Subdue had won over an east-coast fan base but after a couple of years had to take a temporary hiatus. Dan had very little downtime as his playing had attracted the attention of nationally-touring Lost Ledny. With the success of Lost Ledny, Dan’s playing style which fused the ferocity and intensity of heavy metal with layers of groove-based hip-hop and subtle accentuation quickly garnered him much attention and recognition.

.

Since then, Dan has been doing session work for area bands in both live and studio situations. His humble beginnings gave way to great accomplishments, experience and a stronger desire to continue playing.
