D'Angelo first got the drumming bug while he was in junior high school.

At this time, he began taking drum lessons and joined the marching band in high school. He graduated to performing with both the world champion Anaheim Kingsmen and world championship Blue Devils drum and bugle corps respectively.

It was at this time that he discovered Led Zeppelin and their drummer, John Bonham, the single most influential drummer to him, still to this day, among others.

He came onto the LA music scene in the early 90’s with his Funk/Rock band New Roll Soul, which recorded several CDs and continues to perform throughout the west coast from time to time.

He has recorded and performed with several local pop and rock bands throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and Las Vegas.

Currently the drummer for the Las Vegas original hard rock band Throckmore and Neverescence, a tribute to the band, Evanescence.
He continues to teach, record and perform as much as possible, currently living in Las Vegas, NV
