Craig Raphael
Craig has been drummer for half of his life. He started out in Kansas City, Missouri and was playing the clubs before he was old enough to get into them! Having shared the stage with KC bands like Banshee (Metal Blade Records/Atlantic Records), Jeff Scheetz (guitar virtuoso), Puddle Of Mudd (Flawless/Geffen Records), he was schooled and primed for a career in this business.
In his time, Craig has recorded 7 full length CD's with his emphasis KC band “Ticklestick”. Ticklestick was a massive regional success and enjoyed a nice regional following thanks to radio play and huge annual festivals located in the heart of Kansas City. Craig still works with a band in Kansas City called The Scott Moyer Band and is currently about to release a 17 song CD with them. He relocated to Oregon and quickly became one of the most sought after studio drummers in Tillamook County, having recorded for up and coming country artist Laramie Myers and working with producer Larry Schaeffer at West Wave Recording (Tommy Tutone). He enjoyed a regional celebrity status with “Made Like New” and was considered to be one of the most versatile drummers on the scene.
Currently, Craig is the drummer for up and coming Seattle based artist Drastic Down. After touring with Michal Graves from The Misfits and opening for bands like LA Guns, Enuff Z' Nuff, and others, Drastic Down has released 4 singles from what will be a new record in the early part of 2022.
