Cole Dickhoff

My name is Cole Jaysen Dickhoff. I have been playing drums since the age of 11, and have had the privilege to be mentored by Jeff Kathan. I’ve also been to various drum master classes, with various different drummers with names ranging from Nate Morton (NBC’s The Voice), Tony Coleman (B.B. King), Jeff Kathan (Paul Rodgers), Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), Kenny Aronoff (Various Artists), Todd Sucherman (Styx), and others. I have also had the help from friend and very talented musician Lynn Sorensen (Bad Company, Paul Rodgers) who guided me in the right direction through the beginning of my career. I am working on building to be a professional drummer. Writing songs, producing music, and playing live shows. I play a down and dirty set groove, never leaving the pocket, leaving big holes you can drive trucks through. Combined with a classic groove and a head banging metal sound. My Soultone cymbals setup consists of a head shattering 21 inch ride, along with big 19 and 18 inch crash’s. On my left side I have a 17 inch china, and on my right I have a 19 inch china. In between my big crash’s, it varies between a 10 and 8 inch splash cymbal. Saving the big dogs for last, the beefy 16 inch hi-hat cymbals. All cymbals are custom brilliants.
