Chris Olson

Chris Olson was born September 14, 1963 and grew up in Southern California. He started playing the drums at the age of 12. He was influenced by hard rock bands such as KISS, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, and many more from that generation.

Chris played in a few bands through his school years and in 1981 he was asked to join the band Citizen Kane at the age of 18. He toured several times around the USA and abroad opening for bands such as Motley Crue, Ratt, Great white and many more. With videos on MTV and VH1 Citizen Kane became an internationally recognized band.

In 1989 Chris left Citizen Kane and joined forced with Chris Holmes from the band W.A.S.P. to form the band Psycho Squad. After a short run in that band he decided to move to Spokane Washington in 1992 and raise his daughter Kandice and in 1995 he had a son Christian, while continuing to play drum in Church on Sundays and in the prison system throughout the Northwest.

In 2013 Chris had a burning in his spirt to form a new band from scratch and contacted an old friend from L.A. Ronnie Too from the band Witch. Chris and Ronnie started writing tunes and went through several members and in the summer of 2015 the band Dogtown was born.
