Born in Temple Tx Chris McBride was raised in a musical family and began playing drums at age 9 .
When Chris reached age 12 he started out playing and performing in school bands and later in High school Chris started to received numerous awards for outstanding jazz drummer. After graduating in 2006 Chris went on to pursue a music degree in jazz at Temple Community College. In
2008 Chris won IAJE 1st place drummer of the year and was awarded the opportunity to travel to Toronto Canada and perform with the IAJE community college jazz big band.
Moving to Dallas, Tx in 2009 to continue his studies at UT Arlington, McBride began to get noticed by several Local and National recording artist. Since then he has several albums accredited to his name. Currently, McBride is playing for a few national gospel recording artist such as Billy Mitchell and "Party Machine " under Emerald City Management
