Cassidy, a Los Angeles native, was accepted to the renowned New York Collective at only 14, acquiring a well-rounded musical style, learning from some of the finest they have there in their Manhattan school.

At 19 still looking for more he hooked into the Hollywood’s Musician’s Institute, studying with jazz great, Chuck Flores (Woody Herman, Stan Kenton).

Cassidy has played/recorded with hip hop legend MC Lyte, jazz guitarist Greg Smith, The Traction Ave. Chamber Orchestra, , Pianist Suezanne Fordham, indie rock group Canon, as well as many others.

He also recently worked under Producer/Music Director Justin Meldal Johnson (ImaRobot, Beck, Macy Gray, 9 Inch Nails) while recording a full-length album at Hollywood's Sound Factory.
