Cary LaScala

Cary LaScala

Ever since watching his dad play drums along to Led Zeppelin's 'Moby Dick' when he was 12 years old, Cary knew he wanted to be a drummer. It came simply for Cary to be able to separate musical components in a song by ear, learn drum tracks, and memorize entire albums before high school. Having a background with Punk and Metal bands, he grasped complex technical time signatures which helped influence his later years as a professional session drummer, being able to play all types of genres. Cary believes that the best drum arrangements happen when a drummer can identify the exact moment to enhance instruments, vocals or other accompaniment.
