Brennen Schedler

Brennen Schedler

Brennen Schedler is from Boulder Colorado and started playing drums in the 5th grade. He quickly discovered Mitch Mitchell’s drumming in The Jimi Hendrix Experience. This launched his life long love for music and drumming. When he graduated high school and went of to college he started to play regular gigs and study music. Brennen played in mostly jazz groups and indie rock groups. However, now he am fortunate enough to have found players who like him do not conform to any genera and want to push the boundaries of improvisational and experimental music. These players are Josh Mundt on guitar and Michael Rinko on bass. This was when Brennen's band The Udder was born. They play what they call radical music, the only way to describe it is to listen to it. Their main influence is probably John Zorn, but even then, this band is really trying to do their own thing. While this band is Brennen's true passion, he still play lots of freelance gigs. He play jazz around Boulder and Denver as well as blues and rock music. Along with Soultone Cymbals, he is also a member of the Collision Drumsticks family. Shred on!
