Brandon (B. Rice) Rice
Brandon (B. Rice) Rice hails from Union City TN, located between the soulful sounds of Memphis and the country/rockin sounds of Nashville. At an early age, Brandon picked up music from his Dad, who comes from a family of guitar and bass players and singers. Out of all these pickers was a cousin, Terry Bass, who played drums, and Brandon was hooked. As the Hair Band era hit, drums were all he could think about, cutting his teeth on bands like Skid Row, Ratt, and Poison. Once a little older, Country music became his main focus when he discovered bands like Diamond Rio and Brooks and Dunn. For the next 15 years he poured his heart and soul into Country music as a fill in drummer for whoever had an opening. Now days his way of thinking has changed, and Brandon acknowledges that his talent as a drummer is a gift from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is currently heading up the rhythm section for the up and coming Country groups Avonlea and Hillbilly Rich. Brandon feels that drumming has never been quite as fulfilling as it is today.
