Andrew Cordero

Andrew was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and began playing drums at age fourteen when he first played his friends set and realized he had a natural talent for playing drums. He was hooked and knew this was going to be a part of his life forever! His parents then bought him his first drum kit where he was self taught and later went on to study with various good drum instructors like Tracy Borst, Matt Hill and Steve Cruz to help develop his craft. During High School, he played in various rock bands during the 80's metal craze where he learned how to capture an audience and perform live.

Throughout his music career, Andrew has played in many different bands and music situations and has since appreciated many styles of music, including Rock, R&B, Latin and Blues. He has been described as a very solid, versatile pocket player with chops and finesse! He has done lots of studio work with different groups and also worked as a live drummer with various Artists and Bands where he has shared the stage with likes of Thee Midniters, El Chicano, Malo, Joe Bataan, Steeler, Great White, The Temptations, The Salas Brothers and many others!

Andrew is actively working all over the Southern California music scene with his own Top40 Variety Band and currently the drummer for The Rocky Padilla Group.
