Born in Santiago de Chile (CHILE)
Drummer (MURPHY)

1990
His artistic career began in Santiago, Chile, when he was 15 years old,
where he participated playing with local groups.
His early studies in drums were with the Chilean teacher Martinez
Duncan, who was a disciple of the great drum teacher, Chilean Carlos
Figueroa.

1996
He traveled to Mexico with the Chilean group La Cruz, which was part
of "Concepts", a Televisa production.
They performed live in Mexico in cities like Guadalajara, Leon, DF,
Queretaro and Michoacán, in places like Bull-Dog, Collage, Rockotitlan,
and Iguana Azul.
During this period he worked as a drum Tec in the company Backline
Cuss.

1998
La Cruz broke up and its members returned to Chile. Andres remained
in Mexico and continued his studies with Mexican drum teacher Jorge
Murguia, drummer of the group Tabasco.

1999
Andres worked with Mexican musicians like Fito Cedillo and René
Torash from the group "Sistema", he was a member of the group for
only a few months, and then he went back to Santiago, Chile where he
played with local bands in prestigious places, like "Batuta".

2002
In the middle of this year, Andres returned to Mexico where he joined
the Mexican group "CODA" he worked with them for 1 year, performing
in concerts and interviews around Mexico.

2003-2004
Andres continued his drum studies with drummer Elohim Corona and
later with Rodolfo Salas.
At this same time he began teaching boys and teens in Mexico, D.F.

2005
Andres was reunited with his childhood friend and singer of the group
La Cruz, Rodrigo Aguirre, they started making plans for a new band
which resulted in the project Ojo 3, that later was called LUCA,
conformed by Andres Mura, Rodrigo Aguirre, Omar Lattuf, Javier
Vidrio, Cesar Tormo, Fito Cedillo and Rodrigo Muciño.

2006-2008
After doing some gigs in places like El Chopo, Piraña Bar, Dober de
Aragon, and doing studio work with the group, they decided to record
their first musical production, forming the Chilean-Mexico-Argentina
band MURPHY.

2009-2010
Murphy enters the recording studio Topetitud which belongs to some
members of Molotov, where he, Paco Ayala, Nicolas Clau and Camilo
Froideval, processed the disk Amorbo.
The mix was made at Montecristo Studios, owned by Los Temerarios.
Finally the mastering is done at Abbey Road in London where they
worked with Steve Rooke.

2011
Now a day he is promoting Amorbo, the first musical production of his
current band MURPHY, which is currently performing live concerts in
places like Libelula Sound Station, Foro Hilvana, Public House, Lando
in Toluca, Queretaro Wicklow, Mexinaco, Hijo del Cuervo, RADIO UAM,
Tokyo Pop, Bataclan alternating with bands like Lucybell, San
Pascualito Rey, Liber Teran, Los Weeds, Radio Kaos, Los Asteroides,
Desarmado, Pastilla, Catupecu Machu, etc. And radio interviews in
Hispano Parlante on Reactor Radio with Luis Pérez, Radio Faro, Grita
radio, Radio Universidad Panamericana, Universidad de las
Comunicaciones, ENAH, UAM, etc.
On December 10th the new MURPHY’S single is going to come out on
RMX Radio.

ANDRES PEREZ MURA
Nacido en Santiago de Chile (CHILE)
BATERISTA (MURPHY)
1990:
Comienza su carrera artística en Santiago de Chile a los 15 años,
participando en agrupaciones locales.
Sus primeros estudios en Bateria fueron con el maestro chileno
Duncan Martínez, el cual era discípulo del gran maestro chileno Carlos
Figueroa.
1996:
Viaja a México con la agrupación chilena La Cruz, con la cual forma
parte de la productora de Televisa “Conceptos”.
Junto a La Cruz realiza presentaciones en vivo en la republica
Mexicana en ciudades como Guadalajara, León, DF, Queretaro y
Michoacán. En lugares como Bull-Dog, Collage, Rockotitlan, Iguana
Azul etc.
En este periodo trabaja como Drum tec en la empresa Cuss Backline.
1998:
La Cruz se separa y sus integrantes regresan a Chile. Andrés continúa
en territorio Mexicano y es así como continúa sus estudios en bateria
con el maestro Mexicano Jorge Murguía baterista del grupo Tabasco.
1999:
Andrés colabora con músicos mexicanos como Fito Cedillo, René
Torash en el grupo “Sistema” con los cuales estuvo algunos meses.
Luego regresa a Chile donde estuvo tocando nuevamente con bandas
locales en prestigiosos lugares en Santiago de Chile, como “La Batuta”.
2002:
A mediados de este año, Andrés regresa a México donde pasa a formar
parte de la agrupación Mexicana “CODA” con los cuales trabajo 1 año,
realizando conciertos y entrevistas al rededor de la Republica.
2003- 2004:
Andrés continúa sus estudios en bateria con el baterista Elohim
Corona
y más tarde con Rodolfo Salas.
En este mismo tiempo comienza a impartir clases particulares a niños
y adolecentes en el Df. Mexicano.
2005:
En este tiempo Andrés se reencuentra con su amigo de la infancia y
cantante de la Cruz Rodrigo Aguirre, con el cual comienzan a planear
hacer una nueva banda.
Por lo cual Rodrigo Aguirre regresa a México y junto a Andrés
comienzan el proyecto llamado Ojo3 y que más tarde se llamo LUCA el
cual estaba conformado por Andrés Mura, Rodrigo Aguirre, Omar
Lattuf, Javier Vidrio, Cesar Tormo, Fito Cedillo y Rodrigo Muciño.
2006-2008:
Después de realizar algunos conciertos en lugares como el Chopo,
Piraña Bar, Dober de Aragón. Y de realizar trabajo en estudio con esta
agrupación, se toma la decisión de meterse a grabar una primera
producción musical.
Y es así como forma la banda Chileno, México Argentina. MURPHY
2009-2010:
Es así como Murphy entra al estudio de grabación llamado Topetitud
de algunos integrantes de Molotov, donde junto a Paco Ayala, Nicolás
Clau y Camilo Froideval, llevan acabo la captura del disco Amorbo.
La mezcla se realiza en estudios Montecristo propiedad de Los
Temerarios.
Y finalmente la pasterización se realiza en Londres en Abbey Road
donde trabajaron con Steve Rooke.
2011:
Hoy en día se encuentra realizando la promoción de Amorbo primera
producción musical de su actual banda MURPHY. Con la cual se
encuentra en la actualidad realizando conciertos en vivo en lugares
como “libélula sound station” , Foro Hilvana, Public House, Lando en
Toluca, Wicklow en Querétaro, Mexinaco, Hijo del Cuervo, RADIO
UAM ,Tokio Pop,bataclan Etc. Alternando con bandas como Lucybell,
San Pascualito Rey, Liber Teran, Los Weeds, Radio Kaos, Los
Asteroides, Desarmado, Pastilla, Catupecu Machu, etc. Y entrevistas
de radio en Hispano parlante de Reactor con Luis Pérez, radio Faro,
Grita radio, radio de Universidad Panamericana, Universidad de Las
Comunicaciones, Enah, Uam Etc.
