Alexander Hil is a Dubai-based Belarusian drummer, recording artist, and educator known for a refined, versatile sound across rock, jazz, pop, funk, and contemporary styles. Since 2011 he has performed and recorded throughout the UAE and abroad, combining an active stage career with a high-level teaching practice that prepares students for international exams and real-world performance.
Aliaksandr serves as Head of Percussion at NAS International School (Dubai) and performs widely with Lady J Trio—including Expo 2020 appearances and a residency at the Theatre of Digital Arts—with the band shortlisted for Dubai Nightlife’s Best Bar Band. Beyond the UAE, he has held long-term residential contracts and tours with international ensembles across multiple countries, bringing a consistent musical voice to corporate, club, and festival stages.
A passionate studio musician, he maintains ongoing session and recording work, valued for precise time, dynamic control, and musical arrangement instincts. On the international scene, Alexander is a member of The Apples—Belarus’s official Beatles tribute—and has collaborated with projects including Earl Grey (hard rock) alongside numerous cross-border collaborations.
He is a Trinity College London UAE Topper award recipient and an Affiliated Member of the Emirati Musicians’ Association. His Soultone cymbals setup is curated for maximum musicality, articulation, and dynamic range—equally at home in intimate rooms, on large stages, and under studio microphones.
