Böky started playing the drums when he was 8 years old. He grew up in a small town in bavaria, and started playing with different musicians in the area.
Before studying music in Freiburg starting 2014 he already played with several different music acts.
For example he was touring europe from 2012 - 2014 with Tim McMillan, an acoustic guitar player from Melbourne, Australia. Also he participated in 2 of Tim’s studio albums.

In 2018 Böky finished his Bachelor of Arts in Popular music. Since then he working as a full time musician/drum teacher in the area of Freiburg (South-West Germany).

He released a solo record called „Mind Split: The inner Fight“ (2018).
„Dr. Bær“ is the name of his current project, playing music in the self-chosen genre of „Brutal Ethno Prog“.

They sound a lot warmer and have more clarity in their tone, then any other cymbal brand I tried
so far.
The cymbals are all hand made - each and every one of them - this is very special for a brand,
which I have only experienced with Soultone cymbals!
The look of the cymbals is fantastic - you can even imprint your own logo on them!
