AJ Juliano

AJ Juliano

AJ Juliano began his drumming career at age five, joining his parents on stage with a small hand drum from Africa. Quick to fall in love with live music, AJ dusted off an old drum set in the basement and started playing. Peter Orozco became AJ's first teacher and introduced him to a variety of musical styles. At age 12, he joined Denver's School of Rock. For the next two years, AJ started playing music by a variety of bands including Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Tool which led to AJ’s understanding of different music styles and techniques. Soon after joining School Of Rock, AJ auditioned and made it into the SOR houseband, which set him up to play at venues such as Red Rocks amphitheater, Hard Rock Cafe, and KBPI Live Studios along with dozens of other venues. In 2018, AJ's dad received a job contract in Tennessee and the family lived there for a year. While there, AJ got experience playing for another School of Rock, offering him opportunities to play at more venues and events including Knoxville's Mill&Mine New Year's Eve Event and the iconic Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. In late 2019, AJ moved back to Denver and is once again playing for Denver’s School Of Rock as well as some promising independent music projects. AJ has big plans for the future and can’t wait to see where his music will take him.
